Spectrum versus Verizon

Spectrum Mobile just called me to check if I had any difficulty activating my SIM card when I switched service. Verizon never did that.
I'm paying only $14 a month for 1 GB. Because I use Spectrum WIFI and rarely leave the house I probably won't use much of that 1 GB. And now I can make free calls to Canada.
Verizon charged me for calls to Canada and wouldn't offer me lower-cost plans.
Since October 2017 I've been paying Verizon $65 a month for using less than 1 GB of data... because I used my home WiFi.
I'm saving $51 a month. I wish I'd switched sooner.
